Ok, I just wanted to make a comment about the whole SwiftBoat Veterans that have the anti Kerry commercial, and how much its getting blasted. People keep saying that some of the facts are false, and its just a slander against Kerry...does anyone else see how this is the same thing people said about Farenheit 9/11? "Its their Free Speech Right" and "theyre just putting it out there, then people can discuss it, their just trying to bring the issues to light". And as I see it, the Swift Boat veterans arent trying to make millions either.
Just something that drives me crazy about this election, is neither candidate steps in and says anything. THe media is fighting their battles for them completely.
Just one other political note, today Kerry said that with the information that Bush had, in the same place, he would have went into Iraq as well. What the hell. Kerrys only chance in this election is if he just SHUTS UP and doesnt say anything. Whenever he talks, he contradicts himself. Ive kept saying that if he wants a chance, he has to take a stand on something, but now im realizing its not that hes not taking a stand, its that he doesnt have one. He is not a crusader for the common man, if he wins, he will be the richest President EVER, second only to Edwards if he were to become president. He votes to send men to war, the votes to withold money from them, which i think is AWFUL, then says he wouldnt have voted for the war if he had known all the facts, then the 9/11 Commission basically said Bush did nothing wrong, so now that Kerry does have the facts, he said he wouldve done the same thing. This is going to be a hell of an election :)
Argh, Politics makes me so mad and i love it so much at the same time.
